“Ok needs improvement”

Lovely hotel ,some areas was a little run down . Most of the staff were friendly the reception are very laid back it took an hour to check us in ,they are very stingy with their toilet roll . The biggest let down was the food .If you do visit the resort you must try the horse riding on the private beach that was amazing experience and all staff were fantastic and also the Gardner do an amazing job .

“Essam Tag good service”

Essam Tag was very nice and the cleaning was very good Everyday he build some funny things with the towels and ask us if everything is okay

“The best hotel in Hurghada”

I stayed at the Long Beach Resort from October 24, 2026, to November 4, 2026. As is the case every year, everything was excellent. I would especially like to highlight two individuals. Mohamed Roshdy, who works at the reception, is very helpful and friendly; if any issue arises, it is resolved quickly and professionally. The other staff member is Mohamed Nasser, a room attendant—everything mentioned above applies to him as well. They are truly wonderful people, and I will definitely be staying at this same hotel again next year. Urmas Merru.

“Has potential but still needs to improve!”

This hotel has potential to be great but as it is now I would never recommend it to anyone. We still had a good holiday with our family and friends but so many things let it down. Let’s start with positives: •The beach and pool areas are lovely! There are plenty of sunbeds and plenty of space for everyone so it never felt crowded. •The house reef just off the jetty was surprisingly good! If you’re not experienced in snorkelling it feels safe but there’s still plenty to see including loads of different fish, stingrays/ eels/ cuttlefish etc. the coral is in pretty good shape too for hotel house reef. •Entertainment team work really hard and we LOVED the Halloween party they put on - that was impressive! •Some of the Al a cartes and the cactus bar and milky bar were very good. I always enjoy a good variety of Al a cartes at an all inclusive and this hotel ticks that box. • life guards are very attentive. Now for negatives: •I’ve never been to an all inclusive that makes it so difficult to get drinks! Even at dinner in the buffet no one takes your order and you have to wait at the bars to even just get water. This made it more difficult when managing kids at a buffet and it added unnecessary hassle. Also if you asked for help bringing drinks back to a table/ sunlounger etc this could be met with disdain from the staff (not always). •Our room was just average, we booked a premium room in villa area and it was smaller than expected and although it was decorated freshly it was still just ok. The balcony is VERY unsafe. It’s lower level and there is a step that children could easily use to look over and fall. The gaps in the bars are also wide enough for a determined toddler to sneak through woken areas. Luckily my children are not of the are for climbing right now but I know it would have felt stressful when my son was younger. •on Arrival we were given a cot where the bottom fell out and there were staples sticking out and announced mattress. For those who prioritise safe sleep for a baby this was a nightmare. The cot wouldn’t have met and safety standards even if it wasn’t broken. I called reception to explain they said they would bring a new travel colt. They went away and at 11:30pm they brought back the same kind of cot. As the staff member put the mattress in the bottom fell out again!! It took 2 more attempts before they finally provided us with a standard plastic travel cot with mesh sides. (I showed them Pictures each time and stressed it needed to be safe). Eventually it got sorted and they offered us late checkout as some form of compensation. But it was a stressful start to the holiday and th le staff mostly acted like I was being a huge inconvenience. • it’s probably their worst all inclusive we’ve ever had. We’ve been all over the world including Egypt many times, Asia and Europe and this was the worst AI we’ve experienced in terms of quality. The buffet food was mostly Not good and the snack bars were terrible. They had so many weird rules around timings of things being open that makes me think they just don’t have enough staff! • I had extra struggles with food due to allergies. Now I expected this would be difficult so I prepared with snacks and also having a card in Arabic that explained the allergies and what I could couldn’t eat. The cards weren’t reliably so I spoke to the chef at each restaurant. Unfortunately there were multiple times where someone would say something was safe for me to eat and then the next day someone would say it wasn’t!!! My daughter is breastfed and it’s her that has allergies so she spent the week in discomfort that’s not fair for a baby! I ended up having to eat a very plain diet because I couldn’t trust the word of the staff on what was/wasn’t safe!! • the water park is dated and has weird rules about heights etc. I completely understand having a height restriction but they remove the restriction at certain times of the day (that wasn’t made clear) so our kids could go in one day and had loads of fun then the next time we returned they were told they weren’t allowed in and had to wait for the last hour of the day etc. it was just confusing and didn’t make sense. • the constant hassling from vendors around the pool and beach was a nuisance!! Some of them could get quite rude if you dismissed them. You could get a do not disturb sigh from the towel place which helped once we discovered them! • the weird little shop by the D’White restaurant had lots of dead/ stuffed animals and skins which made me feel so uncomfortable. Especially right by the kids pool and family restaurant. It even had a stuffed white tiger! Most of what it sold would be illegal to bring backs o the uk and the shop owner wasn’t very friendly. All in all we had a great time and didn’t let it ruin our holiday, but we wouldn’t return and wouldn’t reccomend to others unless there were some big changes made! Thanks to those staff members who clearly went above and beyond to help! Including the manager at the podium restaurant who went out of his way to check allergens and source additional safe foods for me!! And to our housekeeper who did and excellent job and always entertained our son with some fantastic towel art! If only head management at Long Beach cared as much as you did!
